Meadow Creek Farms was born out of a desire to connect Alberta consumers directly with quality meat producers. The "good food" movement is well underway in Alberta and consumers are increasingly seeking local, sustainable food sources. Currently we offer free range Pork, Chicken and Turkey; ham garlic sausage, bratwurst sausage, pork pepperoni, hams, pork jerky; delicious garden vegetables and a raspberry upick.
Mandy Melnyk grew up on a farm near Waskatenau, Alberta and from an early age learned the value of hard work and the importance of family farms and local food.
There is no use of antibiotics at Meadow Creek Farms. Our free range pork and poultry products have no artificial growth hormones and no artificial feed supplements. Hormones are standard practice in mainstream industrial agriculture Our animals are raised on our Alberta farm until they experience a low-stress slaughter. Our processed meats are Gluten-free and contain no MSG in most cases. Our vegetables and raspberries are in organic certification transition .
Meadow Creek Farms delivers to Edmonton, Athabasca and Ft.McMurray. Meadow Creek Farms is committed to sustainable agriculture and prides itself on being " Your Farmer". We work with community organizations to offer fundraiser programs and have now introduced an online store and CSA shares. We look forward to becoming your farmer.

The Farmer's Creed
I believe a person's greatest possession is their dignity and that no
calling bestows this more abundantly than farming.
I believe hard work and honest sweat are the building blocks of a person's
character.
I believe that farming, despite its hardships and disappointments, is the
most honest and honorable way a person can spend their days on this earth.
I believe farming provides education for life and that no other occupation
teaches so much about birth, growth and maturity in such a variety of ways.
I believe many of the best things in life are free: the splendor of a
sunrise; the rapture of wide open spaces; the exhilarating sight of your
land greening each spring.
I believe true happiness comes from watching your crops ripen in the field
and your children grow tall in the sun.
I believe my life will be measured ultimately by what I have done for my
fellow man.
I believe in farming because it makes all this possible.
