Greens, Eggs & Ham Futures CSA is a flexible, year round alternative to CSA that reflects the unique nature of our business.
Small, non – conventional farms such as ours have great difficulties accessing the capital to operate our businesses despite the ever increasing market demand. This is because we do not fit the conventional “lending boxes” of agricultural, business or personal lenders. Agricultural lenders do not even consider DUCKS – our specialty, as agricultural products! By participating in Greens Eggs & Ham Futures, you contribute directly to our success. Your Prepayment Pledge will provide us with the operating capital we need to purchase essential items such as seed, feed, chicks and ducklings that we raise, drip irrigation, row cover and mulches to extend the growing season, and to hire labour to produce excellent crops.
Greens, Eggs and Ham is a Family Farm featuring:
· Odd, unusual and heritage vegetables
· Free range Ducks, top quality processed Duck products and Duck eggs.
· Free range Geese, Guinea Fowl, Cornish Game Hens, Turkeys and top quality processed Turkey products
As a member of Greens, Eggs & Ham Futures:
1) you get great, fresh and healthy food and unique, uncompromising products all based on the Alkaline and Paleo diets
2) you get to know where your food comes from and who produces it – Who is Your Farmer?
3) you help a small non – conventional farm to grow and reach its market potential
4) you have the flexibility to select any combination and quantity of products that are available and your payment is good any length of time until it is exhausted
5) no risk here, over 100 products to choose from
6) during vacation time your pledge waits for you, you don’t lose out because you are away
7) you have and opportunity to share with family, friends, neighbours, co-workers etc and we are in Edmonton and Calgary!
8)products that are not in conventional production, therefore preserving genetic diversity

Futures CSA can be used to bank food credits, great way to save for holidays and when you income is feast or famine!
